building blocks columbus: a deconstruction initiative

Building Blocks Columbus was a team project completed during my design internship at The MindMarket. The City of Columbus had started a program that allows for a unique collaboration between the City and area businesses. They needed a brand identity and strategic positioning, so we conducted informational interviews, in-depth strategy research, client workshops, and a final creative concept presentation for the initiative, which was spearheaded by Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman. This was a two-month project, guided by the Columbus design firm Ologie through both strategy and creative development. The creative strategy included was one of the two concepts that were presented. I worked with one other team member to develop the creative, resulting in our concept being chosen by the mayor’s office.
