UBKS is a speculative design thought experiment carried out with Haley Kidder. We researched education, cognitive learning styles, and how new technology impacts learning. This installation piece served to speculate on how a fictional, yet plausible, technology would impact the individual. By considering an extreme future scenario we can learn about the present moment and determine our level of comfort with developing technologies. This piece does not exist to pose a solution but rather start a conversation. The construction of a separate room-like structure created an immersive environment with an unusual narrative.
